1 Thessalonians 1:4-6 - Evidence of Your Salvation

1 Thessalonians 1:4-6 is a beautiful and encouraging text for Christ followers. Tim and I discuss these three verses of Scripture and focus in on the reasons that the Apostle Paul and the missionaries knew that the recipients of this letter were God’s choice (V3). If you are a Christian today, you can look at these observable evidences in the Thessalonians which are produced by the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within them and evaluate your own standing with God. The work of God in the lives if the Thessalonians was undeniable. The work of God within believers today should also be undeniable. I believe these verses can aid in the forging of our faith and love for God. I also believe these verses can be used by God to help a skeptic or unbeliever to see Hos power and work of salvation.
